Body side molding applications

M&C Specialties Co. manufactures and fabricates non-mechanical fasteners that are used to retain decorative body side moldings to the automobile. We work with OEMs, Tier Suppliers, and after market suppliers. Using pressure sensitive adhesives allows body side molding to be attached to the automobile without the need for drilling into the body. Most of these adhesive parts are designed and manufactured for a specific application. We slit and make die-cuts with this foam for various applications (attach it to trim parts or interior/exterior appliqués). We convert materials from some of the world’s most respected adhesive manufacturers such as 3M, Adhesives Research, Avery Denison, and MACtac. These strategic relationships with our vendors enable us to offer products such as:

• 3M acrylic foam tapes (PT1100, PT1500, 5344)
• MACmount polyethylene closed cell foam tape
